DIY Craft Armoire

I am totally obsessed with this do-it-yourself craft armoire from this month's Martha Stewart Living. Two bookcases are joined with hinges so that they swing open and closed, with plenty of storage and a foldout desk inside. The backside of this piece is covered with a hand painted botanical wallpaper panel.

that is kinda cool. Wonder how you keep everything from falling off the shelves when you swing the doors?

There is plexiglass rugging across the front of the shelf to keep stuff from falling off when you swing it open

That. Is. Brilliant.

I'm totally making one of those after I make the move to Chicago.

There really is nothing better than this...esp. if you live in a teeny tiny little place!

And you can make it as girly as you want because your husband/boyfriend/live-in doesn't have too look at it constantly!

Beautiful! I adore painted furniture but it's so hard to find here in the UK. Thanks so much for sharing :)
